As a Social Media Manager, you’ll help shape Open Tab’s online presence and connect with our community through strategic social media marketing.

As the Photographer/Videographer intern, you’ll be the creative force behind capturing the magic of our events and helping us tell the Open Tab story through visuals.

As an Event Manager Intern, you’ll be the on-the-ground leader ensuring every aspect of our events runs smoothly. Acting as the eyes and ears at the event, you’ll play a pivotal role in creating seamless, unforgettable experiences for our community.
Social Media Intern
As a Social Media Manager, you’ll help shape Open Tab’s online presence and connect with our community through strategic social media marketing.
Responsibilities:
Develop and schedule social media content for platforms like Instagram, TikTok, and LinkedIn.
Assist with influencer outreach and partnerships to grow brand awareness.
Create and edit content for social media, email campaigns, and event promotions.
Monitor engagement metrics and suggest improvements to boost future campaign performance.
Collaborate with the team to ensure all social media aligns with Open Tab’s branding and goals.
Ideal Candidate:
Creative and trend-savvy: You’re passionate about social media platforms and staying ahead of trends.
Excellent writer and communicator: You can craft engaging captions, and content that connect with our audience.
Organized and analytical: You know how to manage schedules, track engagement, and make data-driven decisions.
Experienced with design tools: Familiarity with Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar tools is a bonus (but not required).
Passionate storyteller: You love connecting with audiences and telling stories through posts, videos, and campaigns.
Internship Details:
Location: Fully Remote
Schedule: Flexible, approximately 10 hours per week.
Duration: February 1st - May 31st
Compensation: Unpaid, but you’ll gain:

Photographer/Videographer Intern
As the Photographer/Videographer intern, you’ll be the creative force behind capturing the magic of our events and helping us tell the Open Tab story through visuals.
Responsibilities:
Attend events to capture high-quality photos and videos of attendees, venues, and event highlights.
Edit photos and videos to create content for social media, marketing materials, and the Open Tab website. (Bonus but not required)
Organize and maintain a digital photo and video library for future use.
Work closely with the team to ensure all visual content aligns with Open Tab’s branding and style.
Ideal Candidate:
Creative and detail-oriented: You have a sharp eye for capturing candid moments and dynamic visuals.
Experienced with photography and videography: You’ve worked on event coverage or similar projects.
Editing skills: You’re proficient in tools like Canva, Photoshop, Premiere Pro, or similar tools.
Collaborative team player: You’re comfortable taking feedback and working with others to create standout content.
Flexible and reliable: You’re available for on-site events in Chicago.
Internship Details:
Location: On-site in Chicago during events.
Schedule: Evening shifts during scheduled events (approximately 10:30pm – 1am).
Duration: February 1st - May 31st
Compensation: Unpaid, but you’ll gain:

Event Manager Intern
As an Event Manager Intern, you’ll be the on-the-ground leader ensuring every aspect of our events runs smoothly. Acting as the eyes and ears at the event, you’ll play a pivotal role in creating seamless, unforgettable experiences for our community.
Responsibilities:
Assist with attendee check-in to ensure a smooth entry process.
Monitor the event from start to finish, making sure all logistics are running as planned.
Provide real-time updates to the Open Tab team regarding the event’s progress, attendee feedback, and any issues.
Act as the first point of contact if anything goes wrong during the event and escalate concerns to the team when necessary.
Gather post-event feedback on what worked well and what can be improved.
Ideal Candidate:
Organized and reliable: You’re on top of every detail and dependable during high-pressure situations.
Strong communicator: You can provide clear updates to the team and interact professionally with attendees.
Problem-solver: You stay calm under pressure and can troubleshoot issues on the spot.
Team player: You collaborate well with others and maintain a positive, professional attitude during events.
Flexible and dependable: You’re available for evening events, typically from 10 PM to midnight.

Location: On-site in Chicago during events.
Schedule: Evening shifts during scheduled events (approximately 10 PM – 1 AM).
